LABORATORIES

Electrical Characterization Lab

Adapted to bulk, thin film,  and nanostructures, the transport properties of different materials can be characterized at different temperatures.

Hall measurements

HMS-5500 Hall Effect Measurement (from -130 oC to 500oC) System allows the determination of the type, concentration and mobility of charge carriers along with resistivity, conductivity and Hall coefficient measurements.

Thermoelectric power factor measurement

LSR-3 Linseis system (from 50 oC to 800oC) measures the power factor, which is given by the product between the square of the Seebeck coefficient, S, and the electrical conductivity, σ, by measuring simultaneously both magnitudes.

Seebeck coefficient at Room Temperature

Lab made system for the measurement of the Seebeck coefficient in thin films around room temperature.
