Amaia Iglesias

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Physics in 2022 at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), followed by a Master of Science in Energy and Fuels for the Future in 2023, also from UAM. She conducted her Master’s Thesis, titled “Manufacturing and characterization of PVdF nanostructures and their self-assembly for their application as radiative coolers”, in the FINDER group at IMN-CSIC under the supervision of Dr. Cristina V. Manzano.

In october 2023, she became a predoctoral researcher in the FINDER group  under the direction of Dr. Cristina V. Manzano. Her thesis is based on the study of polymeric metamaterials in order to improve the energy efficiency of radiative coolers and is part of the ERC-Consolidation Grant Dr. Cristina V. Manzano has been awarded with (COOLed: COOLing for Electricity Production: Battery-free Technology).
